The Basics
Name:  Katie Tulloch (nee Friesen)
Age:  25 years old
Siblings:  I am the oldest of three siblings (2 younger brothers).
Pets:  My husband and I have a cat named Winter.  We found him in a field when he was only 3 weeks old!
Education:  I studied concurrent education (J/I French) at Brock University from 2007-2013.

Professional Information
Occupation:  Teacher
School:  Central Public School (located in Grimsby)
Years of Experience:  I have taught French Immersion for 2 years.
Homeroom:  Grade 3 French Immersion
Courses I teach:  French, Math, Gym, Health, Science (rotary)
Completed AQs: FLS Part 1, Primary Basic, Special Education Part 1, Technology Part 1+2, Math Part 1

Goals for the Course
1)  Continue to gain familiarity with current theories and best practice regarding technology
2)  Discover new ways to integrate technology into my classroom (instructional strategies)
3)  Learn how to access and use electronic resources I am not currently familiar with
4)  Become active as a peer leader in regards to technology use

Fun Facts
-I lived with a host family in Chad, Africa for 1 year and taught English to adults
-I have played piano since I was 5 years old and enjoy playing in church on Sundays
-I have 2 different sized feet!  I broke my right foot when I was 12 and it stopped growing.  My left foot is a size 9 and my right foot is a size 7.
-I love sports!  Soccer, gymnastics, hockey, and ringette are my favourites.  I played for years and I now enjoy coaching.
